Maria Shaw
I have an extensive background in child development, as well as family health and wellness. I utilize my unique life experiences to “meet you where you are” and support individuals, couples and families on their healing journey. Using an integrated approach, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment to empower individuals, couples and families to create healthy relationships and meet their goals.
I work with children, adolescents, adults and families facing many challenges, including, but not limited to: autism, depression, anxiety, self-harm, parenting challenges, stress management, child/parent relationships and family wellness.
I currently hold a marriage and family therapy training license (#1008-228). I am currently being supervised by Judith Warren, MS, LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor License (#943-124) as I work toward my full licensure in marriage and family therapy.
More About Me
I grew up in a small town in west-central Wisconsin known for its outdoor recreation (fishing, hiking and ATV/snowmobile trails). I love to fish, hike, explore and travel. I enjoy spending time with my children as well as my three wonderful grandchildren.
