BA Social Work, Student Intern 

Lorena received her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2021. She is working towards her Master's degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Advanced Clinical Practice.

Lorena has experience working with individuals who are in need of recovery-focused rehabilitation by working with psychosocial services to promote that recovery. She has worked with different therapists and skill developers who were able to provide the psychosocial services to the individuals she has worked with. Lorena works to empower the individuals she works with to help them feel more in control of their lives and to see the strengths they have within themselves. Lorena enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. She focuses on building a strong rapport and creating a recovery plan specific to each client's needs by matching them with appropriate resources and providers. Lorena excels at creating meaningful relationships and setting clients up with the necessary tools for lasting success.
