Jordyn Wavrunek, LPC-IT
Jordyn received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2019. She obtained her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lakeland University in 2024.
Jordyn comes from a background of Psychology and Child Development in which she has worked with after-school programs, summer camps, and Head Start Programs. Since becoming a part of WLIAP, Jordyn has been providing therapeutic services to children, adults, couples, and families. She strives to meet the individual needs of her clients through a calm, empathic, person-centered approach to building rapport and assisting others in working through life’s challenges.
Jordyn supports Early Childhood environments through her work providing Mental Health Consultation, in which she addresses behavioral, emotional, and social concerns. She is passionate about helping individuals and families learn about emotion regulation and coping strategies to help build skills for their everyday life and providing resources to children, families, and staff in Early Childhood and Head Start programs to create a more inclusive and safe environment for all.
Jordyn practices an abundance of skills throughout her work as a clinician in both her clinical work and consultation with WLIAP and continues to grow in her skills. One day, she aspires to have a therapy dog to use in her practice. In her free time, you can find her creating art, attending theatre performances, or spending time with her loved ones.
